Protor-2 (D19A5)Rabbit mAb兔单抗可以识别内源性总的protor-2蛋白。单克隆抗体由合成肽段免疫动物产生，该肽段与人protor-2蛋白的羧基端邻近残基序列一致。rictor-1 (protor-1) 和 protor-2蛋白都可以与rictor结合，并被认为是mTORC2的组分（1）。protor-1 或 protor-2缺失不会影响其他mTORC2组分聚集形成一个有活性的复合物（2）。Protor-1被认为是mTORC2接到的SGK1活化的重要因素（2）. Protor-2在tristetraprolin介导的mRNA翻转过程中起到了作用（3）。

Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues near the carboxy terminus of human protor-2 protein.

Background

Protein observed with rictor-1 (protor-1) and protor-2 both interact with rictor and were identified as components of mTORC2 (1). The absence of protor-1 or protor-2 does not affect the assembly of other mTORC2 components into an active complex (2). Protor-1 was shown to be essential for the activation of SGK1 mediated by mTORC2 (2). Protor-2 plays a role in tristetraprolin-mediated mRNA turnover (3).
