E-Gel®48gels are pre-cast, ready-to-use, 48-well agarose gels designed for medium-throughput resolution of DNA fragments. The E-Gel®482% gels are recommended for separating DNA fragments between 100 bp and 2 kb. The E-Gel®484% gels are recommended for separating DNA fragments between 10 and 400 bp. Each gel contains 48 sample wells and 4 marker wells in either 2% or 4% highresolution agarose with a 3.2-cm run length. Load the E-Gel®48gel with a multi-channel pipettor or robotic liquid handling systems for increased throughput. E-Gel®48gels run in mother and daughter E-Base™ integrated power supplies. DNA bands resolve clearly in just 20 minutes.
