The Novex® Sharp Protein Standards provide corresponding bands in pre-stained or unstained format for various protein gel electrophoresis applications. They are suitable for use with Tris-glycine, Tricine, and NuPAGE® Novex® Gels, and offer:

The Novex® Sharp Pre-stained Protein Standard contains 12 proteins that resolve into sharp, tight bands in the range of 3.5-260 kDa (Figure 1). Each band is stained in a distinct color for easy band identification. The Novex® Sharp Unstained Protein Standard contains 12 proteins that resolve into sharp, tight bands in the range of 3.5-260 kDa (Figure 2), corresponding to those in the Novex® Sharp Pre-stained Protein Standard. The Novex® Sharp Unstained Protein Standard provides accurate molecular weight estimation for gel electrophoresis.
Contents and Storage:
Novex® Sharp Pre-stained and Unstained Protein Standards are each provided as 2 × 250 µl (total of 50 applications of 10 µl each) of ready-to-use standard mixture. The Novex® Sharp Pre-Stained standard loading buffer consists of 65 mM Tris pH 6.5, 30% glycerol, 2% SDS and 2.5 mM ETDA. The Novex® Sharp Untained standard loading buffer consists of 65 mM Tris pH 6.5, 30% glycerol, 2% SDS,.2.5 mM ETDA, and 0.0025% Coomassie® G-250 Stain. Store at -20°C. Guaranteed stable for 12 months when properly stored.
