描述：

Reacts with e macrophage manose rceptor (MR), amebrane glycoprtein ofaproximately 162 kDa whic binds toglyconjugates

containg manose, fucose, orN-acetylgucosamine. Thes carbohydrates are presnt onthe surface ofmany microganism and enable the

macrophage tobind tomicroganism through te MR and internalize them during the proces ofphagocytosi. Manose rceptors are

expresd onhuman macrophages and cultred endric els. They are not detced onresting moncytes. Manose rceptor expresion is

upregulated onPBMC folwing 3day incubation with GM-CSF.
