Key Applications
Western Blotting
Immunoprecipitation
Biological Information
Immunogen
KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide composed of residues at the C-terminus of human CD20.
Host
Rabbit
Specificity
Recognizes a region composed of residues at the C-terminus of human CD20.
This gene encodes a member of the membrane-spanning 4A gene family. Members of this nascent protein family are characterized by common structural features and similar intron/exon splice boundaries and display unique expression patterns among hematopoietic cells and nonlymphoid tissues. This gene encodes a B-lymphocyte surface molecule which plays a role in the development and differentiation of B-cells into plasma cells. This family member is localized to 11q12, among a cluster of family members. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants which encode the same protein.
FUNCTION:SwissProt: P11836 # This protein may be involved in the regulation of B-cell activation and proliferation. SIZE:297 amino acids; 33077 Da SUBCELLULAR LOCATION:Membrane; Multi-pass membrane protein. TISSUE SPECIFICITY:Expressed on B-cells. PTM:Phosphorylated. Might be functionally regulated by protein kinase(s). SIMILARITY:SwissProt: P11836 ## Belongs to the MS4A family.

Usage Statement
Unless otherwise stated in our catalog or other company documentation accompanying the product(s), our products are intended for research use only and are not to be used for any other purpose, which includes but is not limited to, unauthorized commercial uses, in vitro diagnostic uses, ex vivo or in vivo therapeutic uses or any type of consumption or application to humans or animals.
Storage and Shipping Information
Storage Conditions
2 years at -20°C from date of shipment. Upon first thaw, and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance. Note: Variability in freezer temperatures below -20°C may cause glycerol-containing solutions to become frozen during storage.
