Background:CXCL9/MIG
MIG, a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines that lack the ELR domain, was initially identified as a lymphokine-activated gene in mouse macrophages. MIG is a chemoattractant for activated T cells and TIL, but not for neutrophils or monocytes.

Product Summary:
The Quantikine Mouse MIG Immunoassay is a 4.5 hour solid-phase ELISA designed to measure mouse MIG in cell culture supernates, tissue homogenates, serum, and plasma. It contains E. coli-expressed recombinant mouse MIG and antibodies raised against the recombinant factor. This immunoassay has been shown to accurately quantitate the recombinant factor. Results obtained using natural mouse MIG showed linear curves that were parallel to the standard curves obtained using the Quantikine kit standards. These results indicate that this kit can be used to determine relative mass values for naturally occurring mouse MIG.
Precision:
Intra-Assay Precision (Precision within an assay)Three samples of known concentration were tested on one plate to assess intra-assay precision.
Inter-Assay Precision (Precision between assays)Three samples of known concentration were tested in separate assays to assess inter-assay precision.
The recovery of mouse MIG spiked to three levels throughout the range of the assay in various matrices was evaluated.

Linearity:
To assess the linearity of the assay, samples containing and/or spiked with high concentrations of mouse MIG in each matrix were diluted with Calibrator Diluent and then assayed.
