Specificity:Detects human EGF in direct ELISAs and Western blots. In direct ELISAs, approximately 30% cross-reactivity with recombinant rat EGF and approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse EGF is observed. Does not neutralize the biological activity of recombinant human TGF-alpha.
