PBP011 is a tissue culture supernatant containing active bovine GM-CSF, a cytokine that stimulates the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic precursor cells from various lineages, including granulocytes, macrophages, eosinophils and erythrocytes.
This preparation has been shown to have biological activity in proliferation assays utilizing TF-1 cells. The specific concentration of GM-CSF has not been assayed.
Reconstitute with 1.0ml distilled water
Care should be taken during reconstitution as the protein may appear as a film at the bottom of the vial. AbD Serotec recommend that the vial is gently mixed after reconstitution.
