HCA126 recognises Mouse Dapper Homolog 1 (DACT1), a 778 amino acid cytoplasmic and nuclear protein.
DACT1 belongs to the DACT protein family, a group of cytoplasmic proteins that are central to Wnt signalling. DACT1 binds to DVL2 impeding degradation of CTNB1/beta-catenin, this results in enhancement of the transcriptional activation of target genes of the Wnt Signalling pathway
DACT1 is expressed in various tissues including the brain, kidney, liver, heart, and testis.
Product Form
A bivalent human recombinant Fab selected from the HuCAL® phage display library, expressed inE. coli.This Fab fragment is dimerized via a helix-turn-helix motif. The antibody is tagged with a myc-tag (EQKLISEEDL) and a his-tag (HHHHHH) at the C-terminus of the antibody heavy chain. This antibody is supplied lyophilised.

Prior to reconstitution store at +4oC.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
