HCA042 recognises human hemoglobin, a vital oxygen transporting protein that is the major protein constituent of red blood cells.
This antibody recognises human hemoglobin in Western blot, binding to the 17kD sub-unit and multimers thereof. Analysis of binding has demonstrated an affinity of 9nM.
Product Form
A monovalent human recombinant Fab selected from the HuCAL® GOLD phage display library. Expressed in E. coli and purified using purified using NiNTA affinity chromatography. The antibody is tagged with a myc-tag (EQKLISEEDL) and a his-tag (HHHHHH) at the C-terminus of the antibody heavy chain.
