Standard ladders not premixed with loading buffer may also be used, but in significantly lower amounts than required for other gels. Invitrogen’s 0.1-2 Kb and 0.5-10Kb RNA ladders may be used when separating RNA samples. Running and viewing apparatus E-Gel® EX gels require the E-Gel® iBase™ Power System for running and the E-Gel® Safe Imager™ Real-Time Transilluminator for real time viewing of sample migration Pack sizes E-Gel® EX gels are offered in 10- and 20- pack sizes.
