F10-89-4 recognises the human leucocyte common antigen (CD45), which is expressed by all haematopoietic cells. In peripheral blood the antigen is expressed more strongly by lymphocytes than by granulocytes. Erythrocytes do not express CD45.
UCHM1 recognises a 55kDa glycoprotein expressed on the surface of monocytes and macrophages, and belongs to the CD14 cluster. Weak expression of CD14 may be detected on peripheral blood granulocytes.
