ACAD9 Antibody能够检测内源性的ACAD9总蛋白水平。该多克隆抗体是由合成的人源的ACAD9蛋白缬氨酸(512位)肽段免疫动物而制备的。抗体由protein A和肽亲和层析技术纯化。乙酰辅酶A脱氢酶（ACADs）是线粒体黄素酶，催化乙酰辅酶A酯α，β脱氢（1）。在这类酶中，ACAD9是氧化磷酸化复合体I必不可少的组件（2）。有研究表明，ACAD9基因突变会导致复合体I缺乏症（2,3）。

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Val512 of human ACAD9 protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

The mitochondrial flavoenzymes acyl-CoA dehydrogenases (ACADs) catalyze the α,β dehydrogenation of acyl-CoA esters (1). One of these enzymes, ACAD9, is essential for assembly of oxidative phosphorylation complex I (2). Studies have shown that ACAD9 gene mutations cause Complex I deficiency (2,3).
