描述：

DDX4 Antibody检测内源性的DDX4总蛋白水平。通过人工合成人源DDX4蛋白Gly265位点周围序列相应的多肽片段，使用该片段去免疫动物从而制备多克隆抗体。通过蛋白A和多肽亲和层析纯化抗体。DDX4是一个ATP依赖的DEAD-box RNA解旋酶，其在生殖细胞的拟染色体中被发现(1)。这种解旋酶是生殖细胞系中特异的酶，并对于生殖细胞的生长是必须的(2)。研究证明小鼠的DDX4蛋白能和Dicer蛋白相互作用，从而说明该蛋白对microRNA介导RNA沉默起到一定作用(1)。

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Gly265 of human DDX4 protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.

Background

DDX4 is an ATP-dependent DEAD-box RNA helicase found in the chromatoid body of the germ cells (1). This enzyme is specific to germ cells and is necessary for germ cell development (2). Mouse DDX4 was shown to interact with Dicer suggesting its role in microRNA-mediated RNA silencing (1).
