描述：

DDR1的抗体能检测到内源DDR1蛋白的表达。本抗体不与其它DDR1家族的蛋白发生交叉反应。多克隆抗体通过用多肽免疫动物得到，该多肽是根据人的DDR1蛋白Gly598附近的氨基酸序列合成的。抗体经过protein A和亲和层析纯化。盘状结构域受体(DDRs)是一种酪氨酸激酶受体，它的胞外区有一个盘状结构同源性重复，能够被与之相结合的胞外基质胶原激活。目前已知的哺乳动物的DDRs有两种：DDR1 和DDR2 (1)。它们广泛表达于人的组织中，并有可能与平滑肌细胞介导的胶原重塑相关（2）。DDRs异常表达并激活的下游通路可能与很多和基质降解和重构增加相关的人类疾病，如心血管疾病、肝纤维化和肿瘤侵袭性疾病密切相关（1）。

Specificity / Sensitivity

DDR1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total DDR1 protein. The antibody does not cross-react with other proteins of the DDR family.

Source / Purification

Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues surrounding Gly598 of human DDR1 protein. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography. 

Background

The discoidin domain receptors (DDRs) are receptor tyrosine kinases with a discoidin homology repeat in their extracellular domains, activated by binding to extracellular matrix collagens. So far, two mammalian DDRs have been identified: DDR1 and DDR2 (1). They are widely expressed in human tissues and may have roles in smooth muscle cell-mediated collagen remodeling (2). Aberrant expression and signaling of DDRs have been implicated in human disease related to increased matrix degradation and remodeling, such as cardiovascular disease, liver fibrosis, and tumor invasion (1).
