Phospho-PDK1 (Ser241) (C49H2) Rabbit mAb兔单抗能够检测Ser241位点磷酸化的内源性的PDK1总蛋白。该单克隆抗体是由合成的人源PDK1蛋白Ser241周围残基相对应的肽段免疫动物而生产的。磷酸肌醇依赖蛋白激酶1（PDK1）在多种信号传导通路中发挥核心作用（1,2），包括Akt和PKC同工酶p70 S6激酶和RSK的活化（3）。通过这些激酶，PDK1参与调控了广泛的生物学过程，包括细胞增殖，分化和凋亡。在未刺激的人类胚肾293细胞和IGF-1刺激的细胞中，PDK1的几个丝氨酸位点(Ser25, Ser241, Ser393/396 and Ser410)发生磷酸化（4）。在活化环Ser241位点的自磷酸化对于PDK1的活性是必须的（4）。

Source / Purification

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues around Ser241 of human PDK1.

Background

Phosphoinositide-dependent protein kinase 1 (PDK1) plays a central role in many signal transduction pathways (1,2) including the activation of Akt and the PKC isoenzymes p70 S6 kinase and RSK (3). Through its effects on these kinases, PDK1 is involved in the regulation of a wide variety of processes, including cell proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis.Several serine sites (Ser25, Ser241, Ser393/396 and Ser410) are phosphorylated on PDK1 in unstimulated human embryo kidney 293 cells, as well as IGF-1 stimulated cells (4). Phosphorylation on the activation loop Ser241 by autophosphorylation is necessary for PDK1 activity (4).
