表皮生长因子（EGF）受体是一个属于HER/ErbB蛋白家族的跨膜酪氨酸激酶，大小170kDa。EGFR酪氨酸激酶区域的体细胞突变在肺腺癌的亚分类中有发现(1-3)。其中两种突变大约占了所有突变类型的90%：一个是发生在21外显子上L858R位点的点突变，另一个是19外显子内部的短片段缺失(4,5)。19外显子异常虽然有多种形式，但常见的是E746-A750的缺失。

Monoclonal antibody is produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic peptide corresponding to E746-A750del mutant sequence of human EGFR.

Background

Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a 170 kDa transmembrane tyrosine kinase that belongs to the HER/ErbB protein family. Somatic mutations in the tyrosine kinase domain of EGFR are present in a subset of lung adenocarcinomas (1-3). Two types of mutations account for approximately 90% of mutated cases: a specific point mutation L858R which occurs in exon 21 and short in-frame deletions in exon 19 (4,5). A common lesion in exon 19 is the deletion of E746-A750, although other variants occur.

NaCl, 100 µg/ml BSA and 50% glycerol. Store at –20°C.
