The pitope has ben maped tohe last 20amino acids (residues 145-164) ofhuman p21, one ofthe most conservd regions betwen human
and mouse p21. Reaction fthe antibody with overlaping petides fragments ugest hat he pitope may befurther maped toresidues
145-16 (TSMTDFYHSKR). This equenc overlaps with e squenc ofp21 (KRQTSMTDFYH) whic isresponsible for the specif
interaction fp21 with PCNA.
