Reported cellular targets for IL-6 action are: hepatocytes, B and T lymphocytes, neurons, tumor cells and multi-potent hematopoietic cells. Mouse IL-6 is a 21.7 kD protein containing 187 amino acid residues.
The BD OptEIA™ Mouse IL-6 ELISA Kit is for the quantitative determination of mouse IL-6 in serum, plasma, and cell culture supernatant.
