AHP692 recognises human LASP-1, a 30kD member of the LIM protein family.
LASP-1 protein contains LIM, SH3 and an actin binding domain. LASP-1 binds actin bothin vitroand LASP-1 has been co-localized with actin within cells.

AHP692 detects a band of approximately 30kDa in mouse brain cell extracts. A minimum incubation time of one hour is recommended with this antibody.

This product should be stored undiluted.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to human LASP-1 were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
