AHP648 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human LIVIN, otherwise known as BIRC7, a 30kD protein that is a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) protein family. LIVIN is located in the nucleus and throughout the cytoplasm, and is expressed at low or undetectable levels in most adult tissues.

Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to human LIVIN (CT) were raised by repeated immunisations of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
