AHP532HT recognises the 670kD glycoprotein known as thyroglobulin, which is synthesized within the follicular epithelial cells of the thyroid gland.
This antibody labels follicular cells in normal thyroid and colloid stored within thyroid follicles. It also labels neoplastic cells in cases of thyroid carcinoma.
