AHP2157 recognises Human dioxin inducible Cytochrome P450 1B1 (CYP1B1), a catalytic protein belonging to the Cytochrome P450 family, a group of heme-thiolate mono-oxygenases.
CYP1B1 is involved in the metabolism of an as-yet-unknown biologically active molecule that is a participant in eye development, defects in CYP1B1 are a cause of various eye defects including Peters anomaly, POAG and GLC3A.

Immunohistology
This product does not require protein digestion pre-treatment of paraffin sections. This product does not require antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
