AHP2140 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-Terminal (CT) region of human Exosome component 9 (EXOSC9), otherwise known as PMSCL1.
EXOSC9 is a member of the RNase PH family, and component of the exosome 3'->5' exoribonuclease (PM/Scl) complex, which exhibits exonuclease activity, and is involved in the degradation of unstable RNA, and the 3' processing of the 7S pre-RNA to the mature 5.8S rRNA . EXOSC9 has been identified as an autoantigen in patients with the complex auto immune disease scleromyositis.

Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human EXOSC9 (CT) was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
