AHP2066 specifically recognises an epitope within the C-terminal (CT) region of human CORO1A (Coronin-1A), otherwise known as TACO (tryptophan aspartate-containing coat protein).
CORO1A is an actin-binding protein and member of the WD repeat coronin family, implicated as a vital component of the cytoskeleton of highly motile cells, and in the inhibition of phagosome-lysosome fusion in mycobacterial infected cells, thereby enhancing intracellular survival.
