AHP1613 recognises human Metastasis-associated protein 1-like 1 (MTA1L1), also known as MTA2, a subunit of the nucleosome remodelling and deacetylating complex (NURD). MTA1L1 specifically interacts with p53 and reduces the levels of acetylated p53, represses p53-dependent transcriptional activation and modulates p53-mediated cell growth arrest and apoptosis. It is found in the nucleus and is widely expressed.
AHP1613 does not cross-react with Metastasis-associated protein MTA1.

Where this product has not been tested for use in a particular technique this does not necessarily exclude its use in such procedures. Suggested working dilutions are given as a guide only. It is recommended that the user titrates the product for use in their own system using appropriate negative/positive controls.
Western Blotting
AHP1613 detects a band of approximately 75kDa in Hela cell lysate.
Storage
Store at +4oC or at -20oC if preferred.
Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.
This product should be stored undiluted. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.
Shelf Life
18 months from date of despatch.
Antiserum Preparation
Antiserum to human MTA1L1 was raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen.
