AHP1583 specifically recognises CtBP1 (C-terminal binding protein 1), a 49kDa highly conserved phosphoprotein, originally identified through interaction with the C-terminal portion of adenovirus E1A protein, which primarily acts as a transcriptional corepressor and regulator of target gene transcription, throughout development and malignant transformation.
AHP1583 is suitable for use in immunofluorescence studies on cells using acetone/methanol fixation.
