AAR23 recognises rat GRO beta/MIP-2, also known CXCL2, an 8kD chemokine which promotes neutrophil chemotaxis and degranulation and is expressed by monocytes, fibroblasts, endothelial cells, synovial cell and several tumour cell lines.

Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Should this product contain a precipitate we recommend microcentrifugation before use.

Antiserum Preparation
Antisera to rat GRO beta/MIP-2 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
