2150-2355 is specific for dog collagen types I and III. Type I is a fibril-forming collagen found in most connective tissues and is abundant in tendons, skin artery walls and scar tissue. This antibody also recognises Type III, a fibrillar collagen that is found in extendable connective tissues such as skin, lung, uterus, intestine and the vascular system and is produced by immature fibroblasts before the tougher type I.
